Inpainting: retouch any area with AI

See the feature

capture

The Retouch tab lets you paint over a small area of any image and regenerate just that part with AI, leaving everything outside the mask untouched. It runs locally on your GPU and needs no license.

1. Open an image

In the Retouch tab, import an image from your files or start from your last generation. The Brush and Eraser tools sit along the side of the preview, next to Undo and Redo, so you can work in several passes without losing earlier edits.

2. Paint the zone to redo

Select the Brush and paint over the area to change, an object, an outfit, a background detail, or a flaw. Adjust the brush size with the slider. Only the pixels under the red mask get regenerated. The Eraser removes a stroke if you overshoot, and Clear mask wipes the whole selection to start over.

3. Describe the change, or remove the object

Type a short prompt for what should appear in the masked zone. If you just want the object gone, turn on Remove instead: the app fills the area by continuing the background and body on its own, and the prompt becomes optional, useful only to say what should appear in its place (an open hand, for example).

4. Retouch and refine

Set the retouch intensity (denoise) and press Retouch. Review the result; if it is not quite right, adjust the mask or the prompt and run it again, each pass only touches the masked area. Use Undo to step back if a pass goes the wrong way.

To place an object or logo on top of an image instead, see Integrate an element. To tuck an element behind a subject, see Mask tool.
