Local Pro mode versus Cloud Starter mode
See the featuretendre.AI offers two ways to generate: Pro, which runs entirely on your own NVIDIA GPU, and Starter, which renders in the cloud when you have no compatible hardware.
Pro mode (local)
Pro mode runs Stable Diffusion XL and LTX-2.3 video generation directly on your graphics card. Once you own a license, generation is unlimited and free: no per-image cost, no daily cap, and no data leaves your machine. It requires an NVIDIA GPU with at least 8 GB of VRAM, 12 GB or more recommended for smooth video and LoRA training.
Starter mode (cloud)
Starter mode sends the generation job to tendre.AI's cloud servers instead of your GPU, so it works on any machine, including laptops with no dedicated graphics card. You get 10 free cloud images per day, then each extra image costs 1 credit. Cloud video, including clips with synchronized sound, is also billed in credits.
Switching between modes
You can switch between Pro and Starter at any time from the generation panel in Settings. If your GPU is busy or unavailable, switching to Starter lets you keep working without interrupting a local render.
When to use each
Use Pro once you have a suitable GPU and a license: it costs nothing per generation and keeps everything private on disk. Use Starter to try tendre.AI before buying hardware or a license, to generate away from your main computer, or to burst extra cloud images and video on top of your local workflow.
Buying credits
Credits for Starter mode are sold in packs from the in-app store and never expire. See License and activation for how the one-time license itself works, separate from credits.
