Place your subject in a scene or backdrop

A scene is the location behind your subject: a room, a street, a studio backdrop. tendre.AI lets you set it by simply describing it, or by reusing a scene you have saved or trained.

1. Describe a scene in the prompt

The simplest way to set a backdrop is to describe it in words alongside your subject, for example standing in a rainy city street at night, neon signs. The scene and the subject are rendered together in one pass.

2. Use a saved or trained scene

For a location you reuse often, save it as a preset, or train it the same way you would train a LoRA for a character, from a handful of reference photos of the place. It then appears in your scene library and can be applied to any subject.

3. Combine subject and scene

Add your character (described or from a trained LoRA) to the prompt along with the scene, and generate. tendre.AI blends the two so the subject reads naturally as part of the location, matching its light and perspective.

4. Refine framing

If the subject looks out of place, adjust the framing terms in your prompt (closer shot, wider shot, angle) and regenerate. Small wording changes usually fix scale and placement issues.
