Image to video: animate a still
Image to video takes a still you already made, whether generated in tendre.AI or imported from disk, and brings it to life as a short clip with motion and sound.
1. Pick your image
Open the Video tab, select Image to video, and bring in the still: drag it in directly, or send it there from the gallery right after a generation.
2. Describe the motion
Write a short prompt describing what should move and how, for example "hair moves in the wind, slow zoom in." The rest of the frame stays close to the source image; the prompt guides motion, not the whole composition.
3. Set length and sound
Pick a clip length and leave sound on if you want ambience or a matching audio layer generated alongside the motion.
4. Generate and review
Press Generate and let it render on your GPU. If the motion drifts too far from the source image, shorten the clip or make the motion prompt more specific, then try again.
5. Go further
Once you have a clip, chain it into a longer scene or bring it into the editor for a full montage.
See Text to video to generate a clip from a prompt alone, and Transitions to morph between two images instead of animating one.
