Apply a visual style to your images
See the featureStyles are one-click presets that push an image toward a consistent look, without you having to type lighting and rendering cues by hand every time.
1. Click + Style
In Create an image, under the scene, click + Style. Default is None. The presets are grouped by category: Photo, Painting, Illustration, 3D and Retro / Misc.
2. Pick a preset
- Photo: Photorealistic, Cinematic, Studio portrait, 35mm film, Black & white, Polaroid, Smartphone photo and Direct flash (night).
- Painting: Oil painting, Watercolor, Pencil sketch, Ink / comic and Pop art.
- Illustration: Anime, B&W manga, Cartoon, Fantasy art and Concept art.
- 3D: 3D render, 3D cartoon and Low poly.
- Retro / Misc: Pixel art, Cyberpunk, Steampunk and Synthwave.
3. The words stay in sight
The preset writes its words at the end of your scene, before your eyes: you can change them, add your own lens or lighting words, or delete them. Nothing is added behind your back.
4. Generate and compare
Render the same scene with a couple of different presets to see which one fits your subject best. Fix the seed to compare them on the same image.
5. With your characters and locations
Styles work together with the references of Create an image: a character keeps its identity while the visual treatment changes, and a location keeps its place.
Not to be confused with the Style element of Assets > Elements: mood images given as a reference to a video in Ultra (see Create a video).
