Turbo vs Quality: choosing a cloud video tier

Cloud video rendering in Starter mode offers two tiers, Turbo and Quality, trading speed and cost against resolution, length and extra features. Both are available to license holders.

1. Turbo, fast and cheap

Turbo renders at 480p, up to 10 seconds, with synchronized sound, for 2 credits per 5-second segment. It is the cheapest and quickest way to check a shot before committing to a longer render.

2. Quality, the finished clip

Quality keeps a higher resolution, allows longer clips up to 20 seconds, and unlocks character voice and driven camera moves on top of sound. It costs more credits per clip and is meant for a version you plan to keep or publish, not a draft.

3. When to pick which

Use Turbo to iterate quickly on a prompt or a motion idea, getting several attempts for the credit cost of one Quality clip. Switch to Quality once the shot, prompt and timing are right and you want the final version with camera moves or a voiced line.

4. Changing tiers

The tier selector sits next to the generate button in the Video tab whenever Starter mode is active. It is a per-generation choice, not a global setting, so you can switch back and forth between clips.
