Upscaling

Upscaling increases the resolution of an image, making it larger while keeping it sharp. Unlike simply resizing a picture, which just stretches existing pixels and looks blurry, an AI upscaler reconstructs fine detail such as skin texture, fabric or hair, producing a result that looks natively high resolution.

It is typically used as a final step to prepare an image for printing, wallpapers, or any use where more detail and size are needed.

tendre.AI has no separate upscaler since version 0.9.0: choose High (2K) in Create an image, which renders the image at 2K natively instead of enlarging a smaller one.
