Steps

Steps count the number of refinement passes an image model performs while generating a picture, gradually turning noise into a clear result. More steps generally add detail and stability up to a point of diminishing returns, while fewer steps generate faster but can leave an image looking soft or unfinished.

In tendre.AI, step count is set through the Generation quality option in Settings: Performance, Balanced or Quality, each labelled with its exact step count (Balanced runs 30 steps, for example). Pick Performance for quick drafts or Quality for a slower, more detailed final render.
